Peptide Extraction Kit for MS Detection
The mass spectrometry peptide extraction kit is based on Bio-pSi® silicon-based micro/nano materials. Bio-pSi® is a porous silicon semiconductor material with outstanding features, including a large specific surface area, adjustable pore size and volume, and ease of surface chemical modification. It can be applied for peptide enrichment and protection in trace biological samples, drug delivery, biological dressings, and photonic crystal biosensors, among other uses.
This kit is designed for the extraction and enrichment of low-abundance, low-molecular-weight peptides (<20 kDa) from samples such as serum and urine. The kit utilizes the unique physical and chemical properties of micro/nanoparticles to remove large molecular proteins and capture and enrich small peptides. Size exclusion is used to inhibit the degradation of peptides by high-molecular-weight proteases, ensuring peptide protection.
The kit enables both broad-spectrum and targeted peptide enrichment, with peptide peak quantity and intensity four times greater than conventional magnetic beads, and a signal-to-noise ratio twice that of magnetic beads. It offers excellent reproducibility and stability, with a CV controlled below 15%, fully meeting IVD product registration requirements. The kit is cost-effective with stable quality.
