Scimax FTICR
ScimaX FTICR-MS is a Fourier Transform Ion Cyclotron Resonance Mass Spectrometry (FTICR-MS) technology that offers ultra-high mass resolution and accuracy. Its core hardware includes a superconducting magnet and FT analysis cell, which has undergone multiple innovations, particularly the optimization of the electric field in the analysis cell. This allows the mass resolution to exceed ten million, enabling the detection of fine structures in isotope peaks (IFS).

This solution uses MetaboScape® metabolomics software, which automatically annotates molecular formulas of hundreds of known metabolites and calculates molecular formulas for thousands of unknown analytes in complex sample metabolomes and phenomes.
